Greetings Numbed Ones,

It’s already been almost 2 months since the last Comfy Numbed where Alex Kenji gave us all a good hiding on the Elek2ronic front. It was without a doubt one the best events we’ve had to date and we’re just about ready for our next onslaught of all things Blissed and Twisted. Those of you still licking your dancing wounds & recounting your steps prior to that night, check out the evidence here of other Comfortably Numbed Members who were in the same boat as you. If it’s any consolation, when Master Kenji flew back home, he called us up saying that he had never experienced such an up for it crowd in all his years of playing in Italy (Including his band playing years.) WE LIKE! So with the heat dying down and the musical scars fading, lets get back to the program…

On Friday the 20th of October, Comfortably Numbed presents Blissed ‘n’ Twisted with Lee Mortimer at Inigo Bar. Most of you know the drill but here’s the full low down of whats in store for all of you craving a bit of Numbness. Its our last event for the Year until February (Hopefully you’ll all be able to maintain composure until then) and having scouted London’s Deepest Darkest terrain to find our newest guest, we found him Fresh off the Back of a Truck coming from Oxford! Having just moved to London, Please show Lee Mortimer the Comfortably Numbed welcoming that our guests talk about for months after each event. “Sleazy, jackin', acid house with a tech-funk edge is Lees preferred weapon of choice to get the crowds hustling on the dance floor,” and with the launch of his Label & album, “Wearhouse Music”, he is making huge waves with all the big players, including Derek Carter, Bushwacka, Switch, DJ Heather, & Nic Fanciulli who are championing Lee’s Sound.

Coinciding with this event, it’s been official for a while but now you have it in writing, we’d like to present to you our newest resident and good friend, Mr Jon Fynn. Bringing nothing but good vibes, Jon was one of our guests at the March event this year and he is responsible for launching the Comfortably Numbed Sessions on World Dance FM radio, catch the show every Friday from 2 til 4pm. He is also partly to blame for uncovering the headlining Guest, Lee Mortimer, so it’s no surprise as to why we wanted Mr Fynn on the board of all things Numbed. Hailing from the S of A, Jon has played in Brazil, Turkey, Portugal, and has established himself in London with a string of releases on Total Wipes & Level Recordings.

Warming things up this time round, will be the grooves of Ryan Bliss and your usual Duo of Daftness - 2 PhUnKeD uP! After they hijacked the last event with the launch of their website www.2PhUnKeDuP.com they'll be burning it up a little earlier so they can jump around to the beats of Jon Fynn & Lee Mortimer later on. Expect Unidentified Flying Shooters & Messiness all round.

Date: Friday the 20th of October
Time: 8pm till 2am
Entrance FREE before 10pm, £3 thereafter.
Shooters are also only £1 before 9pm!!!

We’ll be having the usual treats of giving a Free shooter to every single one of our guests, i.e. YOU! … All you gotta do is reply with your names and we’ll see to it that the Barmen & Bar Ladies sort you out either on arrival or whenever you’re in the mood to suck one down. Simply mail us on: comfortablynumbeduk@gmail.com or send us a text to: 07971 283 852 and we’ll make sure the barman/lady knows everything about you, what you do for a living, what drink you prefer and why you walk a bit funny, you know… minor details. (-;

Join the Comfortably Numbed Group here so we can keep you up to date with the ins & outs of what’s what in the Comfortably Numbed arena. Our Website www.comfortablynumbed.com is still under construction after the last one got stolen but we’ve managed to get some interesting bits up & running on our Comfortably Numbed My space profile so feel free to take a squiz and drop us a line to say hi.

All the Best

Greg, Balt and Jon.
