Music : House and Electro

Grin this bank holiday weekend as Friday will be the start of what is set to be one of the most memorable weekends in London's Clubland. Grin Recordings kick off the celebrations with their bi monthly residency as they return to Inigo showcasing their brand of UK House & Electro with resident DJs and Special Guests.

Getting the party started will be Yiannis Balkizas who has had a great few months with numerous releases on the label from the old skool electro sounding 'Computer Meltdown' and the pumping collaboration with Jack Michaels on 'Disjointed.' The Journey Begins with his blend of warm techno and house to set the calm before the storm. Next in the evening, we are glad to introduce Housemartin to a Grin line up. Martin has a wealth of experience on the house scene from London to Ibiza and will bringing a bright and vocal vibe to gear up the crowd as we head into the late night session.

Jack Michaels has been on fire over the last six months with a string of high profile gigs alongside the cream of the scene with gigs at Turnmills, Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Hidden and Push NYE at Koko. In between gigging and producing Jack has also had time to become an uncle. Grin residents Sean Thomas and Mark Batch are back in action playing original tracks from the label, new up-coming releases along with up front tracks with a fun & dirty mix of House & Electro.

Special guest this event is Cr2 label manager Chris Rodwell, who has been keeping himself busy recently working on bringing you more future classics from the Cr2 camp with the acclaimed release 'The Journey Continues' by label boss Mark Brown as featured on the TSB adverts along with the 'Live & Direct Miami 2008' Cd series.

As the Journey ends, we will take you all the way until 4am counting down with only one more Grin event to go as we prepare for the 'Ibizan Heat Tour.' The Bank Holiday Weekend starts with a Grin!
