---I SHOULD KOKO!!!---
Hey everyone....

I dunno if you've made plans yet for your NYE - but if you fancy a boogie at one of London's most famous music venues - then groove on down to KOKO for the PUSH NYE bash, where I'll be DJing alongside Funkagenda, Junior Jack and Kid Creme!!!

On the BIGGEST night of the year, house mafiosos, Junior Jack and Kid Creme make an exclusive New Year's Eve London appearance! The Defected geniuses will be using PUSH NYE as a platform to showcase their latest dancefloor cuts.

In 'Trust It', Junior Jack released one the biggest-selling house LP's of the year, spawning the smash hit club monsters 'Thrill Me', the Pointer Sisters-sampling, 'Stupid Disco (Dare Me)', 'Da Hype' - with vocals provided by Robert Smith (he of The Cure fame!) and, of course, the summer smash, 'E Samba'.

Together as a DJ duo, they've created a niche sound, with thier big room house beats road-blocking each and every club they've played and next stop.... is KOKO!!!

KOKO began life as The Camden Theatre and was opened on Boxing Day 1900 by the famous actress Ellen Terry. In 1909 the theatre was renamed The Camden Hippodrome and was a variety theatre where famous names such as Charlie Chaplin appeared. In 1911 film seasons began and it became a proper cinema in 1913. The cinema closed in 1940 and for some 20 years from 1945 the building became a BBC Theatre and shows included the famous 'Goon Show'.

In 1970 the venue was reincarnated as The Music Machine and provided a platform for the first wave punk bands such as The Sex Pistols and The Clash. Subsequently purchased by Steve Strange and Rusty Egan of Visage in 1983 the Camden Palace was born – the venue then holding court to the leading figures of The New Romantic scene and in the process hosting the earliest gigs of the Eurythmics and the first UK performance by a rising star known as Madonna. Not forgetting, of course, those Nutty boys of Camden Town – Madness.

The Camden Palace continued to move with the times and in the 90’s was home to a series of dance nights. It closed in February 2004 in much need of someone to put some love and care into a refurbishment – then KOKO was born.

In its current incarnation, it has played host to some of the most popular names is music, including: Paul Weller, Robyn, Club NME, Amy Winehouse, James Blunt, Basement Jaxx, Dizzee Rascal, Macy Gray, Kerrang! plus a host of the most popular clubbing brands in the UK!!!

So, for this New Year's Eve, warming the three floors of KOKO before Junior Jack and Kid Creme will be a plethora of DJs, including: Funkagenda, Richard M, Aaron Baskerville, Jack Michaels, Muzz Khan, Rob Alldritt, Alex Acuna, Frank Van Greunen plus tons more!!!

If you love your house and electro then join me for the countdown to the biggest night of the year and get ready for the big PUSH.....

For those of you who don't have plans for New Years Eve, or do have plans and haven't purchased tickets, or even those of you who have got tickets... CHANGE WHATEVER PLANS YOU'VE GOT IN MIND AND

GO TO KOKO

Chris LP and I went to the Met in Brisbane last Friday night (14.12.07) to see Junior Jack & Kid Creme's set and OH MY GOD were they amazing!!! It's a big club, new but well known on the scene in Australia... the crowd wasn't massive (maybe 400+?) but they totally smashed it and were rocking the room from start to finish. It's the first time I've seen them since knowing 'how' to DJ (in principle - lol!) and for me, their performance, mixing, tune choice and general attitude was flawless! Never have I had such a good night, and all with only a couple of drinks too!!!

So, my recommendation - KOKO... not only are my fav boys (JJ, KC and MUZZ KHAN) playing, but you've also got a wicked venue with a wealth of amazing DJs and promotions!

ENJOY!!!

xxoo
