Since it launched Breakin Science has been offering up its Drum & Bass party prowess to a number of prestigious London venues. These have included Ministry of Sound, SE1 and The Coronet with the most synonymous to the brand being Koko in Camden formerly the Camden Palace. This legendary spot has played witness to Breakin Science’s renowned NYE events and has also become the venue that the promoters have liked to call the Breakin Science home as it has played a major role in supporting the nights’ success and building its reputation within D&B society.

So why is it then that we are announcing that on 10th March 2007, Breakin Science will host its last ever party at its favourite place to be? Yes Breakin Science fans it is true, the word is out and it is not a rumour either – Koko is no more. Well not for Drum & Bass anyway as they’ve gone all fancy you see. Madonna, Christina Aguilera and more!!! The venue will now primarily dedicate itself to live music, lots of limousines, white towels, hissy fits and paparazzi and we’re just not like that. We’re more soul shaking basslines, jump up beats, laser displays and MC battles and quite frankly we don’t think Madge is up to the challenge!

We would like to say a HUGE thank you to all at Koko, to say we’re sad to be going is an understatement. Guys it has been a ball but finally you can take your ear plugs out. Not quite yet though because we have one more night left, and we are going to definitely elevate the roof this time as we plan to leave our mark on this colossal venue.

And this is how! First on the list is DJ ZINC, who returns from his D&B sabbatical rested, revived and raring to go. Not only will he return with his unbelievable mixing talent, but he’ll also be supplying us with some brand new productions. He may have left the decks for a time but lucky for you guys he has not neglected the studio. He is closely followed by FRICTION, whose fingers are still burning following his almighty midnight set at Breakin Science on NYE. Of course let’s not forget ANDY C - MAMPI SWIFT & HYPE who also return after equally as stonking sets on NYE. New editions include DIE & CLIPZ - SUB FOCUS & NICKY BLACKMARKET. MC’S include all usual suspects IC3 – EKSMAN – DETT – GQ – SKIBADEE – RAGE – EKSMAN – FEARLESS – HERBZIE – FUN - RAGGA TWINS - FATMAN D & DYNAMITE – who else!?! The second room will be looked after courtesy of the ORIGIN CREW with RICHOCHET – JAVE – D ROY – RELAY & KOMROUND – DRIVER – DRUMSLINGERZ.

There you have it, a firing line up for the final Breakin Science at Koko. Then we’ll all swiftly move on to the next chapter of the Breakin Science story, see you there!
