Good + Bad
Overall I had a really good time but some parts were hit and miss. Firstly the good..

1) The venue was brilliant. I had never been before and I was very impressed. The balconies are brilliant and the soundsystem sounded very crisp and strong (once it had been turned up louder!). Reminded me of a smaller version of the Opera House in Bournemouth.

2) Friendly crowd (bar a few twats). Got chatting to quite a few friendly randoms, didnt see any kind of trouble all night and the majority seemed to spent the whole night grinning!

3) Wynand Delport, Charlie Bardley & Ian Betts. These guys were awesome. Charlie and Wynard played some brilliant uplifting trance to warm the crowd up which seemed to go down very well, especially with me as I'm not the biggest hard dance fan anymore and very much a trance lover! Hearing Stoneface & Terminals remix of Gareth Emery - More Than Anything made my night! Betts kept the tempo up after Technikals set but with far more class than the hard trancey sound which I've now decided definately isnt my thing.

Bad...

1) Very moody, unhelpful and rude staff. Especially the woman on the door who has got to be the grumpiest cunt of all time. Sort it out, it puts everyone in a bad mood!

2) Sets under an hour (bar the live sets) souldnt exist. I've always said that for hard dance an hour is the very minimum it should be but anything under that is pretty pointless. It leaves little room for any progression of for the DJ to build up any kind of understanding with the crowd.

3) Andy Whitby...samey, boring, uninspiring, cheesy and unoriginal. His whole set was just the same old tunes that he's been playing for easily a year now. Everytime I know he's on I always give him a second chance and every single time he disapoints. As usual his unbelievable technical ability was there for everyone to see but the material used is just shockingly bad. Like I said to someone near me I felt like I had walked into an under 18's night.

I got to say Willez, I was at Summit @ Hidden a couple of weeks back and Andy did play a completely new set, totally random short mixes of his usual stuff where included but minimal, and again on Saturday at Air, he weren't too bad either...working every weekend and producing new stuff has to be a little hard, especially when you have to try and live a normal life through the week. I was a little disheartened by Andy for a while, but after Summit he was back on my list of dj's to go and see again...thought I'd share. gr8m8-SDD

Fair play, its each to their own after all. All other DJ's who play out every weekend manage to move on from songs that they were playing over a year ago...

I think he knows he's a one trick pony hence why he never changed his tune. Once his plastic fan base has broken up he'll be screwed. Fair play to him for rinsing it while it lasts.

Nahhhhhhh I hate hardcore plus I'm trying to put all savings towards the flat fund.

I assure you that me and India will be back on the clubbing scene in full force soon as possible.

We need you down at Hard South again ;)

Oh god! Stop it, I'm desperately trying to arrange to come down, but I'm very busy right now with certain projects I am involved with...god that makes me sound so important and it's not meant to...but I can assure you I will be hard south at the earliest opportunity, with Jane hopefully!!

I need to sort it out! **wondering when the next is and what the line-up is**!
