Lock N Load Events proudly presents an exclusive new club show for 2008, as we bring you the Swedish House Mafia at London’s prestigious Koko on Easter Sunday 23rd March. Featuring the dancefloor talents of Scandinavian house Mafioso’s Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell, this hot new event will touch down in the capital for the first time ever this Easter!! All three DJs are global superstars in their own right, but when grouped together as a DJ collective, they become truly unstoppable!!

Labelled the ‘Swedish House Mafia’ by the media as a way of pigeon-holing their unique sound, style of play and of course location, it’s a name that perfectly sums up this talented threesome who first pricked our ears back in 2004 with the release of ‘Wot not Woz’ by Steve Angello and fellow Swede Eric Prydz. Since then Angello has released a relentless amount of killer singles and compilations (including his classic Subliminal Sessions mix) remixed the likes of Moby, Royskopp and Goldfrapp, seen his record label Size establish itself as one of the world’s leading house imprints, whilst holding down his roadblock residency at the Ministry of Sound… and that’s just scratching the surface! There hasn’t been a bigger breakthrough DJ in the world of house since Mr Angello came knocking on the door, and his latest funk & soul sampled creation, Buy Now – ‘Bodycrash’ (a collaboration between himself and childhood friend Sebastian Ingrosso) is one of the biggest tunes of the moment. Mixmag have just made it their No.1 Big Tune for the month, Radio 1 made it their Essential New Tune for December and Erol Alkan even made his own edit! Respec. Next up then is Sebastian Ingrosso, Angello’s production partner in crime and bezzy mate. The two of ‘em are both similar in many ways. 1) they’re both Swedish, 2) they both run their own labels – Ingrosso’s Refune Records is another well respected purveyor of quality house music… and 3) they’ve both played at the world’s finest clubbing establishments including Pacha, Ibiza, where back in the summer of 2005 Seb debuted for Erick Morillo’s Subliminal party and became an instant hero. It seemed like the whole world was listening too, as since then he’s become one of the most sought after DJs in the land and always brings that extra something to the table when playing alongside ol’ Angello. Throw in pal and third Swede, Axwell and Koko will surely reach fever pitch on the playing of his smash hit single ‘I Found You’. Arguably Ibiza’s anthem of 2007, like his Swedish peers Axwell certainly has the midas touch when it comes to production. He’s one of the most in-demand remixers of recent years with re-workings for Faithless, Madonna, Nelly Furtado, Moby, Pharrell Williams and Hard-Fi amongst others. A few years back ‘Feel the Vibe’ secured his reputation as one to watch, and since then Axwell’s grabbed clubland by the scruff of its neck to become one of the major new players on the scene. The Swedish House Mafia welcome another esteemed member in the form of Henrik B to the floor, as he brings his techno tones to the mix, whilst upstairs the lads hand over the reins to the ladies with girls about town Queens of Noize throwing down their mental mash-up alongside special guests to be announced.

Lock N Load Events have the perfect pedigree for putting on parties at Koko. From the sell-out Release Yourself sessions with Roger Sanchez to the packed-out PUSH events with Armand van Helden and Junior Jack & Kid Crème (the latter on NYE)… you can again look forward to the highest level of production and the most spectacular laser and lighting show. Combine this with the first ever Swedish House Mafia event in London and you have all the makings for one of the most explosive nights of the year! Oh, and seeing that it’s held on Easter Sunday, that means no work on Monday too! Result.
