It’s good to give back…

Club NME has been going strong every Friday night at KOKO for the last six years.
During this time we have witnessed some stunning sets from bands including MGMT, The Gossip and Patrick Wolf, we have been left speechless at the lyrical genius of kreayshawn and paid our respects to Jess Mills and the electro delight of Icona Pop, we have avoided the sandwiches that Pete Doherty left in the dressing room, and more recently we have had our chakras re-aligned by Turbowolf.

We have welcomed lots of happy regulars who make KOKO their home on a Friday and we thought it’s time we said thanks in the best way we could, with a special one off Saturday special featuring a couple of our very favourite bands at a bargain price of just five English pounds in advance.

Goose – Goose started out as an AC/DC cover band, but they quickly found their own agenda by absorbing great amount of synth into the musical system. Belgium is located just between France and Germany - and in the same manner, Goose are the sound of an intense duel between Kraftwerk and Daft Punk at a lay-by in the Benelux.

Autokratz - infectious bass hooks; insanely catchy vocals, compulsive beats and bleeps can only mean one thing. You are listening to the sound of Kitsune East London darlings Autokratz.

This is the best way to get a party started known to human kind.

Your DJs for the evening, two of the leading lights of Club NME - Ed Wilder and Alana B Devotion.
