You know when you walk into a room and you just know you are going to have a wicked night... You don't?! Then you've never joined the supermagic gals and girls for a night out.

Transcending from the Lords of the Hacienda styled house party to the kings of clubs which they are now on the brink of becoming, I can only describe Friday's soiree at the Living Bar in Brixton as blinding. How ironic that they should go from partying in student living rooms to the living bar, but I couldn't think of anywhere better suited for the dancefloor delictation that ensued.

Not overdecorated or underrated, what mattered tonight was the music and the atmosphere and no doubt as Kai and El Presidente will contest, the crowd was throwing shapes (sorry!)of appreciation from the dancefloor.

If you really want to get back to basics of what a damn good night out with your mates is with NO gimmicks, NO 3 hour long cues, NO nightmares on the guestlist and NO tunes that are kind of 'alright' but a selection that will make your ears love you, then get yourself down to Detached on the 12th of Nov. or the next Trunk-A-Funk as they now have a residency. Nice one guys - can I be your friend?

It was a sensational night, gorgeous girls, friendly people an electric atmosphere and some really Mother-Funking House that rocked till the early hours. Ill see you at the next one ....
