Day 1 on the best weekend of the year… take a deep breath, this is going to one hell of a ride!!…Firstly, some of you must be thinking.. Camden? Isn’t there a big ol’ party happening in SW4 somewhere (can’t remember what the name is ;). Well, yes there is – and I’m sure it will be a good bloody shout an enjoyable for those of you who are going. Last year however, SW4 let me down a little with a few mediocre sets coupled with complete lack of power on the main stage speakers left me feeling short changed. I was still going to go until I saw this little beauty, and it will be drastically better on the wallet than trying to make a tout part with their final few SW4 tickets!

door. favourites Supatronix who have been throwing some insanely good parties over the years, threw a killer boat party last month followed by a rammed to the rafters after party – which was so good I’d say it was the best night in London, this year for me so far (and I’ve been to a fair few!) – have come up with a line up which may just top it!

Taking over one of my top London venues, Camden’s Lockside Lounge for a FREE BBQ Summer Sizzle! We can all get our bank holiday off to a flying start with burgers, beers, breaks and bubbly beats!
The large outside balcony makes for perfect relaxing and chatting with mates while we come round to the realisation the weekend has only just started and we can take our time with chilled beers and look forward to all the fun ahead.

And oh what a fun way to kick it all off! Not only SupaT’s legendary residents – Jurassik, MissMax and Youthful Implants, who consistently create the most infectious party atmosphere. But the are joined by some serious breakbeat bad boys;

High Eight started as one half of the Future Funk Squad, now going it alone and drawing from the whole range of the breaks spectrum, and always aiming for that true party vibe. Playing alongside breakbeat behemoths as Rennie Pilgrem, Freestylers and Stanton Warriors – expect this set to be top notch.
AWE Soundsystem have been going strong since their creation in 2002 and have, similar to High Eight played alongside the big boys of the breaks scene with a tyranny of exchanging styles of broken beats and funk fuelled turntable-ing madness. This will really kick the party ass into gear.
Rysty, a resident providing the breaks angle to a very successful dirty house night DirtyGroove and Pogo DJ’s who went down a treat at SupaT’s after boat party, and I am eagerly anticipating another corker of a set!

So SW What? Camden’s where it’s at mate!
