A successful opening night!
This was our first night and so we were nervous, but all went well. People were already waiting by the time we opened the doors at 9 and the dancefloor was packed by 10:30.

All the DJs gave a good account of themselves. Trooper and EZ Rider got the crowd going, then Smoove and Blind kept them going. Special mention has to go to Lil Man who smashed it and had the crowd yelling for more! Theo B had a tough act to follow but ripped it up too. DVS, Mekar and Bomber kept everyone hyped.

Unfortunately Fresh's agency effectively double booked him. Is one hour enough time to get out of a club in Brighton, up the motorway, into Croydon and into another club? Only if you know exactly where you're going and drive at 100 mph on empty roads. In the real world it takes nearly 2 hours, and that is how it actually happened.

This could have been a downer for the night, but it wasn't. We were all understandably a bit disappointed, as was Fresh, but it wasn't his fault and everything was resolved amicably with the agency. We hope to have Fresh back another time, hopefully with Ivory when they resume their 'Sound Weapon' tour. There were no complaints on the night and haven't been since either.

Total attendance was over 250. The venue holds twice that and we aim to ram it for our Easter Sunday all-nighter. View photos from the night at facebook.com
