After our quieter summer events, TG returns to full scale at Mass, following a 5 month break. So expect the full-on TG experience of 1200 capacity, 4 themed rooms and full line-up of performances, installations and visuals.
New Mass Layout for TG Sept:
We will radically alter the venue layout at Mass for our Sept Torture Garden.
After over 8 years at Mass we felt it was time to try something new, and also perhaps the standard concept of the Dungeon Room has become stale and needs updating.
Therefore we will switch the Eclectic Rooms and Dungeon Rooms for the first ever time.
We hope to be able to create a more glamorous and sexy Dungeon space, with sumptuous decor and cabaret / burlesque music, that will be more Kit Kat Cabaret Club mixed with Agent Procateur Boudoir than Medieval Dungeon.
This is NOT a move away from SM and the room will still fully feature play equipment, but it is a change of style and ambience.
Moving the Dungeon space at Mass will also allow for the possibility of suitably erotic shows on the large stage.
We have found that at venues where there are only 3 main rooms the mix of Cabaret / Burlesque, Performances and Electro Mash-up all in one room has meant compromise and a clash, and not allowed for the Cabaret ambience in the later hours.
By moving elements of the Cabaret / Burlesque ambience into a new style of Dungeon space, it will free up the Eclectic Room.
The new Eclectic Room will still retain the same music and performance policy, but the new space will be a refreshing change and we will transform the basement space with new decor, visuals and full stage.
We are looking forward to experiencing all the changes on the 9th, dont miss it!
