How do you describe a night like that? My biggest worry was whether it was going to be able to compete with my virgin experience. At this time of year when I’m out all that much less, the art of picking wisely was paramount and the wide smile on my face from the doors of mass to the cab surely said it all.

Different people go to clubs for different things but ultimately it’s all about having fun and fun is something I had tons of. I remember getting there, getting through the doors in record time, saying “Hi” to the girls on the desk at the bottom of the stairs and then getting up them in double time. I had finally arrived and I just wanted to be there.

I got my coat checked, came down stairs and expected to see a half empty room. I mean it was early, it’s a club after all. Clubs are supposed to be empty before midnight. How wrong was I? Everyone was incredibly up to this. I got told as much before hand so why didn’t I just take everyone word for it? I got myself a beer from the bar and there began a wondrous night.

I wore myself out. I actually wore myself out almost completely about three times. This meant stints of sitting down and nodding my head like a dash board dog on a country road. The music was fantastic. Redbull’s down my system I was seriously back on it with every chance I got. Dancing on stage like a lunatic, hands in the air to the point of getting cramp. But the energy was just amazing. Clapping like we’re doing gospel in the church it was just Wow.

And the people?! What can you say about the people? What can’t I say about the people? They were fun, vibrant, friendly and really friendly at that. You know when you’re standing outside shivering trying to get everyone together and you’re hearing people you never met before that night shout your name just to tell you goodbye, those people. The type of people that see you dancing and just wanna dance with you. The same people that when you sit down come over, tell you they seen you dancing and are wondering when you’re coming back.

To be honest, the night was just quality all round. Absolute quality and I feel like I’m not doing it the homage it deserves. The people that said they saw me last time, the new people I met and the music courtesy of some fantastic DJ’s. It was all just quality. I’m two for two as far this brand Ibiza Underground vs Miami Madness goes and I couldn’t be happier. A quality night from start to finish, I can’t wait to see what they’ve got in store for the next one.

Another on point, and well written review. Ibiza Underground has been a great addition to the London scene even in such a saturated time full of promotions. The creme rises to the top or something like that...1000 people on Saturday will gladly agree it was a top night.
