Is BRIXTON the new Kings Cross???

When I talk about a part of London known for late night madness, large clubbing venues and much more – where would I be talking about?
Well until now it would have been Kings Cross, but with the imminent closure of 3 of the areas super clubs the promoters & clubbers alike are going to have to find a new place to party.

As luck may have it and in true “Keep the party going London Style” a ready made replacement lays just 5 stops down on the Victoria line.

Brixton has for a long time been the home of Hard Dance & Drum & Bass events, but this I feel is soon all about to change.
The area has 3 of the biggest and most unique clubbing venues in the capital;
The Mass,

The Fridge
center>
& Brixton academy

not to mention some great club/bar venues like Plan B, The Telegraph, 313, DogStar, the Fridge Bar and Jamm bar.

So with some of London’s biggest promoters all looking for new homes these great venues are sure to open their doors and let them come in.

This all means that Brixton is set to become the NEW heart of club land.

Brixton has the feeling of Kings Cross meets Shoreditch and also gives me the same feeling that Shoreditch did 10 years ago that it is getting cooler by the day, with new boutique shops opening every week.

The influx of the Super Promoters has already started with the launch of the NEW Monthly event next month IBIZA UNDERGROUND Vs MIAMI MADNESS @ the Mass on Saturday 13th October.
This is without doubt the best line up in London on that night and therefore shows that Brixton is already well on the way to becoming a Super Power within the London club scene and all this before Kings Cross has even closed down.

LET ME KNOW YOUR THOUGHTS

IS BRIXTON THE NEW KINGS CROSS???

Been saying this for a while - Brixton clubbing was truly amazing back in 2000-2003/4, it needs that life injected back in to it.

Someone can't count!
Yeh without a doubt!

Been out clubbing a lot in Brixton over the last year and had some wicked nights.

Lets hope it kicks off in a big way, Brixton gets my vote for the new Kings Cross!

I've always liked Brixton! Spent most of my teens in Mass, Fridge, Plan b etc!! It's defo a up and coming area!! Plus it's south - jus down the road from me!

1 Problem tho - once u've had a wicked nite in Brixton u have to trek to north/central for a good afterparty!! So I start off near home and end up a mission away!!

Sort it out people get those good afterparties happening south!

Mass is really one of the most unique venues around, when I was there yesterday it just takes your breath away.

I cant wait for our Launch night there, it's going to be a bit special.

Too exclusive to advertise on such a thread. Invite only, and even then you have to be lucky.

of course I have you spaz, but I mean everytime I go there I still find something new to get excited about.

With the whole of the Mass and 3rd base all at our disposal that night theres going to be lots of happy party folk loving a range of music on the night.
