Great picture and stunning subject, shame it seems a little over cropped on the left hand side to me.

Yeah - that's what I meant.

over cropped on the left hand side to me
Meh - just iffy framing then rather than cropping.

Out of interest is TG a complete fraud, filled with bouncy happy house music and models, or what?

(And that's a genuine question, no virulent, sarcastic attack).

I was starting to wonder if they were starting to lose their grittiness as well now it's become so popular and dare I say verging on 'mainstream'?

No bounce happy house music at all. But it is more Dance music (usually Hard house type or epectro) in the main room than any other kinds of music. There are other similar nights for other music types e.g. Antichrist is more Rock/Goth.
Curious - why do you ask ?
Althought I don't know her - this girl is a model but AFAIK wasn't modelling at TG
(She's a friend of a friend)

Usually the more hadcore people stay in the dungeon area and photographers aren't allowed to photograph there, pass or not.

It is something that has also been mentioned in the Fetish Scene.
Of late TG have had problems with people not making enough effort but Allen + the TG crew are starting to address them.

Just perception I guess. The fact you mentioned it's split between rooms like any normal club night makes sense. Guess we see the more commercial side. It's easy to get a picture of the place as a rather cool S&M culture. Like a fad where beautiful people can just pretend to be into it.

It's rather easy to criticise I guess, but sometimes you get the feeling (and this applies to all forms of entertainment) that there's people into it 100%, heart and soul, and then there's people who are there to be seen.

You're in the tricky position of promoting the event, and bringing in people who might not have realised there's nights like that, while promoting that latter point of view.

I wouldn't call it "commercial" but yeah I'd agree that TG is one of more accessible parties of the Fetish scene (i.e. closest to mainstream) - partially because it's so well known.
Some berate it for this but I think it's good - allows people an easy entry if they do want to go on.
Even though I've been going for years there is the odd thing from time to time that hocks me - usually the performances which some such parties don't have.

I have to say I didn't get that feeling on the occasion I was there.

However, the above paragraph made me think TOTALLY of the Aphrodisiacs gallery that Mark put up yesterday. (Well, not the gallery, which was great, but what it showed.)
