I can't really understand how somebody trying to put on a performance that involves make-up/facepaint etc can so grossly offend you?

If you had been at Octane (which I very much doubt) you would've seen that it can add to a performance. Unless you think a hardstyle night involves loads of Alex Kidd tunes being played at 160bpm, and were dissapointed to hear some proper harder styles, being played by a great bunch of djs (that includes the ones not wearing make-up).

Would love to see what you respond with, though you'll most likely put some crap about clowns again and log straight off.

ive waited quite a time for an event to come along with my home area..i was quite excited cos normally i have to travel miles to get to summit decent....and what happens....a ton of crusty the clown wannabees to up and turn it into a freakshow....looks like i'll have to keep on makin my travels to see some...REAL dancing entertainers and some djs that can mix....cos with all that eye make up on im convinced you cant see what your doing ..ie the levels, eq-ing, effects or piss all.

As for the DOA, if you have anything that is actually constructive to say then we are all ears, we won't be changing our image though just because a minority of people seem to regard it as a bad one. But like I said if your constructive then we will listen, if your just gonna keep mouthing off like a school kid then i suggest telling someone with a similar attitude ;)

And as for musical mixing, who's the one on the decks here? Promoters don't book people that can't mix let alone ask them to become resident or have them headlining. But hey what do i know? I'm just a clown...

What exactly did you think was wrong with the mixing? You've mentioned that you think the mixing and track selection was poor, yet you've not explained why. Plus you haven't mentioned a single DJ who you would like us to compare them to?

And I'd imagine that the reason that the DOA haven't been at any of the events that you mention is because they're only just making their name in the scene. Everyone has to start somewhere....
