SUBLIMINAL CHRISTMAS SESSIONS @ MINISTRY WITH ERICK MORILLO & DAVID GUETTA 1st Dec 2007

This article is about Subliminal @ Ministry of Sound in London (UK), Sat 01 Dec 2007

Erick Morillo is currently one of the most in-demand and instantly recognisable DJs in the world. From the climb-the-wall success of his weekly ‘Sessions’ parties in New York, to hosting events like the annual road-blocking Subliminal Sessions parties in Miami for the Winter Music Conference, Pacha Ibiza, and his now legendary Subliminal Sessions exclusive London residency @ Ministry of Sound there seems no bounds to Morillo’s success. His prolific DJing schedule has seen him crisscrossing the globe playing up to a whopping 30 gigs a month, along the way scooping up endless awards such as “Best International DJ” and “Best House DJ”.

Fans everywhere will therefore be delighted to hear that King Erick Morillo and his mighty Subliminal Sessions are back for another all-night audio assault at London’s Ministry of Sound! Kicking off December in style, Morillo will be taking over the Box in the flamboyant and unique style only he can pull off, showcasing all things Subliminal - the records he’s loving at the moment and the tunes that have been devastating dance floors all over the world.

As always Morillo will play an epic set, but sharing the spotlight with him this time will be superstar DJ David Guetta, playing 4 hours of dance floor smashers and reminding us exactly why he was recently voted number 10 in the DJ Top 100. With his third long-playing album Pop Life, the return of the legendary ‘F**k Me I’m Famous’ parties in Ibiza Guetta is taking things to the next level. A household name in his native France, the multi-million selling producer, recording artist and promoter has left the rest of the world rapidly catching up.

Keeping it sexy in the bar, Marc Hughes, Richard Murray, Tom Murgatroyd and Paul Deighton will be representing Housexy, playing uplifting funky and electro house to please your ears. Meanwhile for something a little deeper and dirtier, Innuendo will be taking over the Baby Box with boys that can do no wrong right now: Welfare for the Digital. Alex K, Rob & Dave Marchant, Jonny Milward and others join them for the rest of the night.
In the lounge our very own Dave Vega from Ministry of Sound Radio plays alongside special guest Terry Farley.

Yep it'll be a very busy one again, in face last year when I went to Subliminal at Ministry it was the busiest I've ever seen it!

If the main room is too much then make your way to the babybox, I'm playing in there from 12:00 - 1:30 ;0)
