On Friday 16th May, The Gallery welcomes a very special 3 hour set from one of the recent mega success stories and real greats out there - Markus Schulz. Markus was one of our success stories of 2007 headlining several Gallery events and proving that he more than deserves his position in the Top 20 of the DJ Mag Top 100. A US DJ with a difference, Markus’s appeal stretches worldwide whether it be his Global DJ Broadcast radio show that has become one of the most listened to and widely respected, or his impressive and ever consistent Cold Harbour Recordings label which has been responsible for a plethora of dance floor destroyers... Markus has emerged as a popular DJ and musically has toughened his sets slightly of late, leading to mayhem on dancefloors wherever he’s been. Over at Gallery HQ, we’re delighted to be able to get him back for our first month at Ministry and to showcase him once more; this time with the added benefit of a 3 hour set to boot. Trust us!!

Joining Markus will be another producer and Gallery favourite. M.I.K.E. is a long time veteran of The Gallery and commands huge adoration and respect for his every evolving, challenging but brilliantly produced and executed DJ sets. He has even recorded one of his recent mix albums ‘At The Gallery live’ on Armada. Not one to pigeon hole himself he has been one of the biggest trance producers under his guise Push amongst many others but also pushed the boundaries with various other guises and his record label Club Elite. A true producer in every sense of the word, his DJ sets are lessons in good club music and it’s a good chance to get some education MIKE style! Richard Durand is one of those real emerging stars, having made his UK debut back last April for our Vaccine room at The Gallery we have supported him since and boy oh boy is the lad a strong’un!!! With a vast array of productions and remixes dropping left right and centre not to mention some of those cheeky bootlegs, Richard remains one of the most in demand trance DJs on the circuit at present and we are delighted to welcome him back. Another UK debutant Blake Jarrell who expertly warmed up for Armin in December brings his proggier beats to town once more, another name expect to see a lot more of in months to come. We think this one is set to blow... and blow big!

The Bar plays host to a female double with Jo Mills and Lisa German taking the helm of the good ship Gallery for one night only. Jo defiantly qualifies for title of a frequent flyer. The talented DJ and producer is in high demand worldwide, about to jet off on her sixth annual tour of Asia, Australia and Indonesia before returning to her beloved home base of Ibiza to unveil her eagerly anticipated new weekly residency for summer 2008. Add to that the news that Jo has announced a bi-monthly residency at Manchester’s Area 51 and the fact she’s heading back into the studio to produce new tracks in time for summer and you’ve got one very busy DJ. Lisa German is one of those DJs we just love to have here at The Gallery. As comfortable rocking the dancefloor of Trade to Gallery to Smartie Partie, she’s a guaranteed winner and in a new environment such as the Bar we know she will do what she does best... smash it big time!! A real talent who crosses boundaries on so many levels Lisa will be once again proving to the masses that all girls want to do is have fun; expect the usual bad behaviour and oh so much more all rounded off with the Union DJs hosting the Baby Box. The Union DJs are huge on the student party scene hosting sell-out mid week events at Fabric, so expect the NUS queue to treble this week!!
