THE GALLERY ‘LIVE SESSIONS’: PART 1 FRIDAY 19TH JUNE Box: Way Out West (Live) Josh Gabriel (4 hour Set) Sister Bliss Scott Bradford (Lexicon Avenue) The Viceroy Bar: James Talk Steve Lee Ben Nott So Called Scumbags (James Edward & Dave Minns) Mark Myers Baby Box: Hosted by Axis Trax Ellektra Scott D'Souza Audio Guru Anna Kiss Tony Divino Loft: Hosted by Another Wild Night Twisted Grooves Chris Lambert Georgeos Si Stylus Funky Fatboy Stevie D This Friday 19th June welcomes one of dance music’s biggest and most legendary production outfits for a very special live show and the launch of The Gallery Live Sessions. We are of course talking about the huge Way Out West (aka Nick Warren & Jody Wisternoff) one of the greatest electronic acts of all time. Launching their new album on the night, Way Out West will be bringing their live show to the Box for an unmissable performance, alongside the big sounds of Josh Gabriel and Faithless leading lady Sister Bliss. Gallery resident The Viceroy supports, whilst in The Bar James Talk joins resident Steve Lee for his second set of the month. Ben Nott, So Called Scumbags and Mark Myers complete the Bar bill, as Axis Trax host the Baby Box and Another Wild Night go crazy in The Loft. Our new ‘Gallery Live Sessions’ concept (which we’re unveiling this week) brings together a special live act, an extended set from a Gallery favourite and a new face to the Box. Throughout the year, we’ll be showcasing the very best in Gallery music from across the globe in this format and so look out for future Gallery Session line-ups coming soon to include Nick Muir (Live), Spektre (Live), Hernan Cattaneo, John Quivver Graham and Valentino Kanzyiani to name but a few. Providing the live element for our new concept will be the legendary Way Out West. The duo (Nick Warren and Jody Wisternoff) have released several huge albums including the self title ‘Way out West’, ‘Intensify’ and the brand new one ‘We Love Machine’. Legendary tunes such as ‘The Fall’, ‘Mindcircus’, ‘Killa’ and ‘The Gift’ have made them household names with the dance establishment and their material is always eagerly anticipated and in the amazing surroundings of the Box at Ministry of Sound we cannot wait to see them live. The ‘extended element’ of this week’s Gallery is provided by Josh Gabriel. Formerly of Gabriel & Dresden, Josh has turned his incredible talent to a whole new sound and on his last visit simply blew us away. With tracks like ‘Summit’ gaining huge crossover appeal Josh has been busy touring the world with his laptop dj sets wowing clubbers and fellow djs alike. Given the chance to play an extended set taking in the full spectrum of his sound this is not to be missed! Gallery resident and leading lady Sister Bliss takes a break from her hectic world of Faithless to come back to her home and put in another legendary dj set. One of those djs we are running out of adjectives to describe she has to be heard to be believed. Providing the usual end of night finale is Gallery’s resident and young talent The Viceroy whilst the warm up for the night is provided by Scott Bradford he of Lexicon Avenue fame. The Bar is headlined by house assassin James Talk – who’s been a busy boy of late with a bevy of tunes and consistent touring of the globe. Joined by Gallery resident Steve Lee and rising djs Ben Nott, So Called Scumbags and Mark Myers the Bar once more plays host to a Gallery formula of cutting edge headliners, much loved residents and new emerging talent. That just leaves the very excellent Axis Trax to host the Baby Box and Another Wild Night to throw yet more mayhem in The Loft. Phew!
