Just wondering does anyone know how big the queue is gonna be into ministry at like 9? I cant get there till like 9.30 but want to catch a bit of laidback luke, recon its possible? x

although i appreciate a cheap night on a freezing weekday night, we all saw what problems this can cause. As others suggested the 1st step would be to charge more and offer pre paid tickets.

By reading all the comments today i can see it was a mixed affair. Some of us were lucky to get in while others who were there before me turned away. Once inside it was a different story. Everyone glammed like it was fri night. Both rooms were rockin with their respective DJs. Must say David knows how to work the crowd and of course i have nothing but praise for Armin & Markus.

guess youll be please to know there both playing ministry on the 19th of december :P

my mate arrived late & waited around for me (felt sorry for him) congratulated Armin when he was leaving outside & told him he'll see him on the 19th & Armin seemed a bit surprised that he knew(should he?). So yes will be making evey effort to make it down for that one.

It was a fuckin disgrace, reading all your comments about not getting in is some consolidation. I got there about 10 i think. At 10.30 they started saying the club is full and no one else is getting in, people were soo pissed off. My friends were already inside for a while but so were other people's mates too. As a true fan of Trance music I did try to get in till right before 3 o'clock haha, the highlight of me waiting out in the cold was that I saw Armin come out with his crew. Also there was some drunk Italian or Spanish guy trying to get in for like 2 hours, the bouncers were'nt impressed and did chuck him around for a bit. After I finally decided to walk off, then met some dudes at the bus stop who went there too and they just got in with the guestlist people because they just stopped calling names out and just let everyone in. Why did DJ Mag choose MoS for the venue, fair enuff its a *trendy* club but come on! To be honest they should have anticipated that soo many people were going to come and should have picked somewhere with capacity for at least 2500. There must have been between 2000 and 3000 people and capacity of MoS is only a mere 1500.
Also I want Markus to win soon, I saw him in July and he was outstanding. Dare I say better than Armin.

I qued for over 2 hrs bloody freezing

we queued for over 1.5 hrs in the freezin cold too but once we got in, we all had a great time! mark knight was superb towards the end after cheezy guetta, le grend, luke. too trancy in the main room apart from beardyman but not into beatboxing either. they need to sort out queues next year

See you all at the front of the queue at 6pm that night then yeah? :P

same story for me. Got there 9, queued for 2 hours and then shot off home.

This event definitely has to be held at a bigger venue. I've been to most of them for the last 6 years and I've never seen it so bad, even when it was last at Ministry (was it 2005?) it was no way as busy as last night.

The annoying thing was when we queued up there clearly werent 1000 people infront of us but many newcomers were blatantly jumping the queue, which is a massive pet hate of mine.

Like someone suggested either presale tickets or some sort of gueslist you can sign up to should be set up for next year

They should just do it at SE One, it's the only venue really big enough...

Or Brixton Academy?

Last time I was in Brixton Academy the sound was really bad...and there is only one real room tere, unless you want to rave in the foyer!
