Music : Funky House, US House and Old Skool House

Glam icon and living legend Boy George stops off in the UK for an exclusive show on March 19th at Pacha London. Although now a resident in New York, Boy George has been at the forefront of UK music for the past two decades.
In the mid eighties Boy George was the lead singer for pop group Culture Club smashing into the charts with a series of songs that defined the eighties and catapulted George to stardom making him a household name in both the UK and US. A DJ in the late 70’s, it was when Acid House came that George found a new spark in music. A regular at key London nights from 1988 onwards George lived the party scene riding on the Crest of a string of chart hits he was one of the London faces that gave birth to the scene that exists today.
While his passion for clubbing fuelled his social life the musical side of George warmed to the new electronic sound of the late eighties and early nineties and with friend Jeremy Healey and clubland friends Simon Rodgers and MC Kinky recorded 'Everything Starts with an E’, an acid house anthem.
Just as Culture Club had fused reggae with pop, the E-Zee Posse merged 'ragga' with house; released on George's new dance imprint More Protein, 'Everything Starts with an E' became a club classic. Especially rewarding for George was the fact that many people didn't know he was part of it and he found a new role behind the glare of the paparazzi. Not an established and world famous DJ in his own right George is making his Pacha debut so come down and check it out.
After the fantastic night back in January for their 4th birthday I.T. are back to bring you another hedonistic party at Pacha. Elegantly funky, Jackin' beats to remember for their up for it clientele I.T. is the new way of life
