With the weather getting warmer the Pukka up parties just keep getting bigger. This month Pukka up brings to you some of that Ibiza magic with one of their famous boat parties followed by a huge line up at Pacha. To mark their exclusive monthly residency at Pacha, PU and Made Up production will transform the club to showcase the DJ’s that have been grabbing the headlines this year. For Saturday 16th June PU will be joined by the likes of Nick ‘Bodyrox’ Bridges, and their fantastic new resident Abigail Bailey.
Newly announced resident Abigail Bailey, who has recently been tipped to be the new Sonique brings you a new concept in DJing. Using her amazing vocal talents she will freestyle sing new and old tracks such as chart topping ‘I Just Cant Get Enough’ over her her DJ set. Abigail says "the idea is to fuse the two together I’ve sung over many DJ sets and it really works so I thought why not do it my self its an exciting new concept that I cant wait to persue" She will inject her innovative touch and personal music selection that doesn’t amaze only the crowds, but DJ’s as well from all over the board! In addition PU residents Rob Wilder and Scott Giles will no doubt be looking to mesmerize us with their trademark upfront house sets.
In the gallery expect a full blown carnival atmosphere as UK born and chart topping producer Nick ‘Bodyrox’ Bridges takes over the decks. The brilliant Bridges will deliver two hours of electric and eclectic unique blend of electro driven house. Nick is musically mature, technically astute and a DJ who is not afraid to bring different styles to his set. His performance at Pukka up alongside Electric Boogaloo can most definitely be considered ‘mouth watering’ and we know Nick and the boys will be pulling out all the stops to make sure it lives long in our memories.
To warm up for this fantastic line up, PU invites you to join them on the river for an exclusive boat party bringing you some of their trademark Ibiza magic. With the hot summer weather and the best uplifting music, this is a great way to start this monumental occasion with the PU residents rocking the boat all the way down the Thames.
So there you have it; an Ibiza style boat party and the first Pukka up of their exclusive residency in 2007. We’ve thrown a few awesome parties at Pacha already and we’re confident this will be the best yet. One boat, a club, seven kick arse DJs and a sound system that will blow your eardrums. We’ll see you on the dancefloor…….
