Subbass DJs rocking room 2 for Twisted Disco at Pacha!!

On April 25th Twisted Disco will once again hit Pacha London, with a huge main room line up including, Jerome Sydenham, Jonty Scruff and Graeme Lloyd. Recent events have blown the roof off, Twisted Disco moved from the Cross at the beginning of the year is now firmly established as one of London's leading nights. With a music policy of underground electronic house and top international guests like Claude Von Stroke this is a night not to be missed.

This month the night has an extra special edge with the finest fresh talent from Subbass DJ Academy taking over in room 2. Subbass is the UKs leading dance music school, with DJs and producers launching their careers from the central London studio.

'We think this is a great oppotunity for djs to get a foothold in the industry, showcase new talent and have a rocking party' JC twisted Disco's promoter tells us. 'We have used the the Subbass guys at Previous events to warm up in the main room, and they have always done a wicked job, so we thought we would step them up and see what they can really do!!.

Subbass was started in 2000 by DJ and Producer Graeme Lloyd and has gone from strenth to strenth ever since. Over the past 8 years they have developed into a center of excelence, with many DJs from the courses going onto successful careers behind the decks and in the studio. DJs Mike Koglin and Trevor Maclaclin started at Subbass and many pro djs have come through the doors to learn production skills including, Shane Watcha, Jnr J, Guy Hornsby and Ben De La Pena.

We asked Subbass director and International DJ Graeme Lloyd, what makes Subbass different from everywhere else?

'We only work with established DJs on our courses, so that students are learning from guys at the heart of the industry like Dan Gerrett (The Catz), John Taylor (Punx Soundcheck) and Mike Koglin who has wokred with the likes of Boy George and Above and Beyond and has returned to work with students on our production courses. We pass on information about the industry and how to get yourself out there, we also work closely, with clubs to secure gigs which has lead to our students playing at some of the biggest clubs on the planet.'

Students completing the courses have gone onto play at Turnmills, The Egg, The Cross, Ministry of Sound, Brixton Academy, Heat Events, Electric Gardens, SW4 and now Twisted Disco at Pacha. This months event will see the cream of the Subbass DJs rocking room 2 from 10 till 6am.
