We caught up with Twisted Disco resident Graeme Lloyd to get the low down on the party and what he has been up too..............

Tell us what’s new in the world of Greame Lloyd?

Well its been a really busy 2008, have been in the studio for most of it and setting up my label 'StripBack' with Fabian Chui. We have some cracking tracks ready to go, with some awesome remixes from the likes of Tommy 4 Seven and Luke Brancaccio.

What have you been up to recently in London and further a field ?

I played at Godskithen in Shanghai in December, which was wicked, if you get the chance to go there check out the fake trainers!!!!

What’s your favourite track at the moment ?

Has to be Satoshi Tomie and Solar wind, Tania Von Pear played it to me a while back and have loved ever since.

Who have struck up a mean pantership with Tania Von Pear in the studio, Tell me abit about that?

Well we have known each other for a few years, playing together at Gallery and being on the same agency (Sedition DJs) and we get on so well that we thought we would get into the studio and make some tunes.

What`s your favorite club to play in (and why)?

Has to be Turnmills, have always loved that place and they have been really good to me. It was the club that made me want to be a DJ and I will be very sad when I play there for the final time on March 14th

If you could only play one more club ever, what club would it be and what other DJs would be playing?

Gallery at Turnmills with Tall Paul, Seb Fontaine, Sister Bliss and my good mate Gavyn Michell

What got you interested in dance music ?

I have always been into music, as i was a professional dancer way back and did top of the pops with the likes of Alcatraz, Baby D, and Camisra, was also invoved with Strike (U Sure Do) this led me into DJing.

What do you prefer (producing or DJ``ing)?

mmmmm hard to say, I love them bith for different reasons.

Tell us something about you that not many people know?

I am a sport fanatic, and love a good gamble!!!

What have you got coming up in the future?

All systems go for the launch of the label, 'StipBack' and the release of a series of tracks and re-mixes throughout the year. I have some really nice gigs coming up too including more Twisted Disco's at Pacha, Gallery (March 14th) and some internetional trips.

CHECK OUT GRAEME LLOYD AT TWISTED DISCO AT PACHA THIS FRIDAY
