We caught up with birthday boy Felipe K to get the lowdown of the night itself.........

Tell us what's new in the world of Felipe Kastegliano?

Well I've got a new tattoo yesterday I guess that's new... oh and a upgraded the laptop apart from that not much just working away in the studio none stop…

What have you been up to recently?

At the moment got so much going on, it's been hectic! Been doing some work with the TwoAM boys for a few months, done some work with Local Produce and also trying to get my night ELECTRONIC BOUTIQUE up and running, been doing some work with a private members club in central London, DJing there on a weekly basis. All this while producing and getting a label started so as you can see it's a bit mad at the moment but I'm not complaining!! ;)

Your at Twisted Disco this weekend. What can we expect?

Expect pure filthy minimal techno!

Since Twisted Disco moved from The Cross the party has continued to dominate as the best house night in London and I cant wait to get my hands on that new martin audio system it's the bollocks! Its my birthday too so its gonna be messy… well after my set ;)

What does London mean to you?

London for me is the house of music, full stop! Every DJ loves playing in London and everyone wants to go clubbing in London… The underground scene in London has inspired me in so many ways... so many to mention!

What`s your favorite club to play in (and why)?

That would've had to be THE CROSS (RIP)! Had the honour to play there for JC twice and the atmosphere in that place was unbelievable, truly irreplaceable!

If you could only play one more club ever, what club would it be and what other DJs would be playing?

It would probably have to be The Cross or Turnmills…

Other DJs on the night would include:
Danny Howells, Desyn Masiello, Sasha & Digweed, Cirez D, Format B, Paul Van Dyk… A bit of a mixture there but there's two many to mention!

Your quite new to the scene but are already making a huge impact. What got you interested in dance music ?

I was a bit of a trance- head growing up… I've always been into music, when I was like 10 me and some mates from school had like a little band and stuff… funny times! I started listening to trance when I was like 11- 12 thanks to my older brother… There was one tune in particular that really hooked me and that was Insomnia by Faithless and then some later stuff from Mauro Picotto, Mario Piu, Kitikonti got me to try my hands on the decks around the age of 14 and haven't looked back since…

What do you like to do away from dance music?

Eat and sleep! Oh… and spend time with my gorgeous girlfriend! ;)

What have you got coming up in the future?

I've got a few things cooking up for later in the year. Have been talking to a promoter in New York who seems very keen but they have some festivals coming up so we will talk after the summer, don't want to say who as there's nothing for sure just yet. Also have a friend promoter in Miami which I'm planning a party with for nxt years WMC… that's looking really promising! CANT WAIT
