Formula celebrate thier 4th birthday this Friday at Pacha so DSi decided to catch with Andy Philips to find out what's going down and what birthday mayhem we can expect........

1. How did you get into DJing?

Listening to pirate radio in my early teens, then started buying tunes and carried on from there.

2. What makes your style of DJing unique?

Tight beat matching, using personal edits of tunes to stand out from other djs, and reading the crowd well.

3. What do you do when you’re not DJing?

Chill out, listen to music, make re-edits and starting to produce.

4. What music do you listen to?

Across the board, pop/indie/drum&bass and of course house.

5. Who’s on your DJ dream team?

Erick Morillo/Carl Cox

6. What was the most expensive night you’ve ever enjoyed in London? And who was paying?

Table at Trap (Wardour Street), I was.

7. And the cheapest?

Never cheap...

8. What’s your favourite festival?

Global Gathering.

9. What’s the most unique venue in London in your opinion?

Fabric.

10. Describe your perfect day and night in London, naming venues – restaurants, bars, etc.

Lunch in the sunshine at pont de la tour, early evening drinks in west end bar (stanza?), the on to ministry of sound, get a table in the vip room.
