You need to read my Hat Club comment as a lead up to this.. So, after the free coach was cancelled and those of us who could be arsed shelled out a good wedge of cash getting a taxi from essex to Pacha - arrived and no one at Pacha, including the manager knew anything about the combined Hat Club / Pacha ticket! In the end he let us in for an easy life I think. The cloakroom was closed so I had to drag my coat round with me. grrr! There were some decent tunes being played but I'm not entirely sure that I liked what the DJs were doing with them, but maybe I was in a bit of a bad mood by then!

And what happened to the supposed extended opening hours. I'm pretty damn sure that on Facebook it said it was open til 8am. But, no! the lights went up and the music came to a dead halt at 5am meaning I had a frezzing 1 hour wait in Victoria station for my train. Not happy, felt I had been ripped off.

That IS weird. They never close the cloackroom. Which one did you use??? There's two. Perhaps they shut one and just left one open.....

In terms of the extended opening hours, Wendy - Pacha, which usually shuts at 5am, was going to stay open 'til 6am. But, as is the way with some clubs, if it's pretty quiet at the tail end of the night - people tend to shut the club early.

It's always happened ever since I've been clubbing and, now that I'm in the business, it's STILL happening. Kinda crap, really, but there's nowt we can do about it.

You could get stuff out but not put anything in!

Hiya, I did ask if there was another one but was told no! It was faily quiet but I reckon that if the Hat Club coach hadn't of been cancelled it would've been much busier. Early closing is harsh, think that's why the shoreditch clubs and places like the end and egg are so popular as they never seem to shut or there's an after party not far away to go to. Anyway, I'm over my grumps now, had a quality night last night to make up for it.

i don't think Pacha has ever had afters... some clubs just don't have them...



they don't often have them at Ministry either, or Fabric (although Fabric is quite often open until 10/11 on a Sunday morning!)
