It's been a long time in coming but we're finally here. Or should that be, we're finally back!?!?! After an absence of three years from the finest house music cherry of them all, Kinky Malinki are delighted to announce their return to Pacha London. But this time in true Kinky style we're back for a bi-monthly fling....
With the final touches having recently been made to Pacha London's £1 million refurbishment, the venue is now a world-class destination in nocturnal sound thanks to a stunning Martin Audio system. Not to mention the breathtaking lighting, too, which brings it in line with the other superb Pacha venues around the world. With more improvements to come including a very exciting open-air roof terrace launching in the Spring, our Kinky playground just got sexier.
To herald in this new era for 2009 we've bought in George Morel, one of the biggest DJs ever to come out of the US and a true pioneer in the world of house music. Known throughout the four corners of the globe for his smash 'Let's Groove', George's ingenuity lies in his DJing and producing skills - the latter which have seen him mastermind releases for C&C Music Factory, 2 In A Room, Mariah Carey and Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam for 'Let The Beat Hit 'Em'....
George Morel just released this week the follow up to "LETS TAKE DRUGS" (just in time to send a message to the new up coming president in the US) called 'It's Time To Party" on Groove On records. It is already being played around the globe with huge support. At the end of January George is also releasing a pumping soulful vocal track called 'GET ON IT". In February, Morel will release two other singles called " A TRIP TO BERLIN" & " BEAUTIFUL LIFE". Coming in March "The Boom' with Melih Ask & "Can You See
Mr Morel was also vice-president of A&R at Strictly Rhythm where he would work with the emerging talents of house music Felix Da Housecat, Erick Morillo, Sandy Rivera, DJ Pierre, Mood II Swing, Barbara Tucker, CeCe Rogers, Roland Clark and Ultra Nate - we think you get the measure of the man.....(!) Currently living in Miami and with the annual Winter Music Conference looming, there is no-one better placed than George Morel to take the up the mantel and show you the sound of the 2009 Miami WMC. He's got his finger firmly on the house music pulse and he's ready to exclusively share all the monster tunes that will shape our clubbing year ahead.
