Celebrating five years of late nights and loud music south of the river, Plan B in Brixton will be hosting a two day birthday party at the end of October. Guests for the Birthday Weekender include Basement Jaxx (DJ Set), DJ Yoda, Greg Wilson (The Hacienda) and many many more!!!
Music : House
Day two of the weekend long fifth birthday celebration is going to be even bigger than the first night, with none other than Basement Jaxx stopping by to play an exclusive DJ set! Both Felix and Simon (Basement Jaxx) have a long running association with the area, from the early days of Rooty down the road, to recent sell out gigs at Brixton Academy (as well as the Atlantic Jaxx label being run from a little office just around the corner from the club)… however it has been a while since either of them has ventured out of the studio with a bag of records to play in an intimate club for a few hundred of their fans! Support in the main room comes from Turn It Out DJs Adrian Blunt and Mick Mesa who have both been playing for us since pretty much day one. The DJs for the second room are still to be confirmed, but whomever they may be, you know it is going to be something a little special!
