Joining in the dance at the deep house night Body Music as they cement their move monthly to Plan B exclusively and all the way from San Francisco is David Harness while in the Birdsong Boogie Basement we've got West London stalwart Phil Asher with an ecletic set spanning the soul music spectrum for what is somewhat surprisingly his Body Music debut.

Flying over exclusively for this gig alongside John Oudo & Pablo Martinez upstairs is one of the most popular DJ/producers in the San Francisco scene - David Harness. He first appeared on the Body Music radar with some slamming production and remix work - Mary J. Blige, Luther Vandross, Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys & Floetry as well as releases on Loveslap with Charles Spencer. And after hunting out some mixtapes which became firm ipod favourites showing us that this was no mere producer pretending to DJ we knew we had to book him! With East Coast residencies into their 15th years and having played alongside legends such like Frankie Knuckles, Tony Humphries, Little Louie Vega, Tedd Patterson, Dave Morales, Danny Teneglia - it's fair to say he knows what he's doing behind the wheels of steel! Having been trying to book David for the last 18 months it's nice to have finally got this one sorted so we can show you what the fuss is about!

So where do we begin with Phil Asher our guest alongside Andy Bird in the basement? This immensely talented, influential, affable, modest and musically knowledgeable daddy of the London house, broken beat & soul scenes has been there done that and ran the club night. A saint in a club / music industry filled with sinners and with fingers in too many pies to mention; but we'll try. The Restless Soul collective, the Inspiration Information club night he runs with Patrick Forge, a residency at Co Op arguably the most influential broken beat night in the world, a Soul Heaven residency, his varied recording output on record labels across the globe. And most importantly.... MOST importantly for a Body Music booking he's a really good DJ!

Joining Andy and Phil in the basement is another affable young gent with a big smile and a killer record collection. A rotund ruffian who appreciates that a good set isn't about whether you played the latest Osunlade aliased CDR but about good quality soul infused music programmed right, mixed right and played right - the one, the only Mr Mike O'Mara

I think that this one is gonna be fun!
