Higher Ground gets heroic with Trevor Fung, DJ AKA and a handful of special guests thrown into the bargain this Saturday at Plan B. Trevor is what you might call a “stalwart” of the capital’s underground music scene (he was taking holidays in Ibiza with Pete Tong and Nicky Holloway when you were getting creative with Duplo) and Faith fanzine scribe AKA is no Johnny-come-lately himself, boasting more than 20 years experience behind the decks. Expect all manner of exemplary house, disco, electronica ‘n’ ting served up by these two local heroes. Meanwhile, their good friends from Simply Boogie do exactly what the name suggests in the basement.
