Saturday night came and went in a flash. Easily one of our most anticipated shows of the year thus far. French DJ ARNO COST was in town, fresh off the back of smashing Miami he was headlining our April show with support from Jem Haynes, David Griffiths and Dave Penn.

9pm -12am
The night took off to a flyer with local DJ Dave Penn on warm up duty. Dave's been a regular for House Rules since our early days and it's no surprise to us that he's gone on to play regularly at the likes of Pacha, Herbal, The White House as his talent at getting a dance floor moving is second to none. Playing from 10 - 12 the dance floor was bouncing as he handed over to our 2nd guest JEM HAYNES.

12 - 1:30am
We Love resident Jem played at our birthday back in October and is what we class as a F***ing good DJ. He's leant his trade playing in Ibiza on Sunday’s at Space for WE LOVE so he’s used to the odd good party or two! At the end of his hour and a half he received a huge cheer from the packed dance floor and rightly so – if you’re out in Ibiza this summer be sure to check him out at Space on Sunday’s – he assures us “it’s a tough job but someone has to do it”.

1:30 - 3:30am
With the club at bursting point there was a real sense of excitement as the clocked ticked towards 1:30am. Its very rare that a DJ gets so much PR in such a short space of time but Arno Cost along with fellow French DJ / Producer Norman Doray have been everywhere over the past two weeks following WMC 2009. From Data Transmissions Miami reports to Pete Tongs INMWT show. So up stepped the little Frenchman to deliver a stomping debut set. With a mixture of everything from his own productions (CYAN, APOCOLYPSE, SOUVENIR) to main room anthems from fellow Frenchmen (Doray, Guetta and Solveig) and not forgetting the new Swedish House Mafia track (Leave the World behind).

3:30 - 5am
Before I knew it 3:30am arrived and parting to a massive cheer ARNO’s work was done. It was up to resident David Griffiths to take over and keep the party rocking to the early hours. As ever the venue stayed packed right through until 5am and David delivered another quality set proving just why he’s our star resident and one of the capitals hottest house DJs. May 2nd
