You've just completed another summer residency at We Love...Space Ibiza. What was that like and what were your highlights?
Its been my best summer so far! There’s too many to write them all down, but one of my highlights was playing the main Terrace closing set after Steve Lawler and the whole place going mental till seven in the morning. Another highlight was the Burlington Project with Martin Buttrich Live in the Red Box. Somehow we managed to get away with an after hours beach party where we all played back to back till 3 in the afternoon …AMAZING!

Outside of We Love... what other nights & DJs impressed you in Ibiza this summer?
Cocoon is always good fun and I heard a guy called Guillame and the coutu dumonts Live.He performs like a DJ but he also plays electronic percussion and keyboards on top of his tracks …you HAVE to see it.

You had a studio in your villa this year, what Jem's (no pun intended) can we expect to hear in the coming months?
I have 2 EP’s out right now with my production partner Jamie Funk, one called “ Kidstuff” on 1trax and another called “ The Stalker” on madhatter recordings. We have some great projects in the pipeline for labels that we are both really into but for now they have to remain a secret…

DJ wise, what highlights have you got coming up?
I have just mixed the We Love Remix compilation which will be out very soon on digital download. So I will be doing a lot of gigs to promote that aswell as making my usual winter stops in China, Miami and maybe Australia again early next year…

Uner + Coyu, Audiofly, Alex Celler.

For people who haven't been to House Rules, from you're past experiences, sum up the night.
It's one of the few London gigs that I choose to do simply because there’s always a great crowd that just wanna have it!!

Plan B's had a £1m refurbishment since the last time you played there back in April, what can the House Rules crowd expect from Jem Haynes on 7th November?
They can expect me to put the new soundsystem to the test cos Ive got some absolute corkers ready…

Finally, what's this we heard about an after party and a speed boat in your villa swimming pool?
It wasn’t me, I had nothing to do with the speed boat!!!
