Never would you expect to have so much fun in a Toilet...!

Last night a converted disused Public Toilets in East London saw the return of Custard Nights far bigger and better! Deep-tech house resonated from the superb soundsystem encased in the underground concrete Lavatories. Enthused Custard Nighters travelled from far to see our biggest party to date for a gorgeous blend of deckmanship from residents Jamie Tunbridge, Sam Bailey, Jake Vedak and guest Jimmy Reckless (Passion FM). A dark and uplifting atmosphere grew through the night from stunning performances by Bailey and Vedak, a mix of moody deep house and twisted techno. Also Jimmy Reckless arrived with a bag of records and gave us a sample of his special collection, a large shoutout to him and his support for plugging Custard Nights on his show at PassionFM.

A great thank you to all those who've been supportive from the start and to all those who made it down to East London last night, there was a special vibe about the night that oozed enthusiasm and ambition - we got the impression that everyone was there not only to enjoy the night, but to be part of making Custard Nights something truly special and successul. So we salute you Custard Nighters!

So many requests for an exclusive CN T-shirt...lets see what we can do about having a box brimming with freshly ironed cotton for you at our next night. :D Talking of which - we're currently following up on the next CN at Public Life so we'll keep you all informed...also we're involved in talks with another venue in Hackney, soon to be announed.
