Happy New Year guys!
As you’re all very well aware, we were sadly struck down in our prime at the tail end of 2010. It seems Mother Nature is not as keen on raving as the rest of us, and she dually dealt us a full hand of snow at precisely the same time as our last event. Suffice to say, that after months of planning, this left us totally heart-broken yet powerless to do anything. Jamie Anderson was stuck in Dublin, and most of our team were marooned around the UK, as the arctic conditions did their worst...
...but the snow has since disappeared.
And so, for a brand new year, we’re commencing with a brand new sense of hope and optimism. The unfortunate event of last year is now water under the bridge (see what we did there?), and we’ve drafted in one of Techno’s most stunning ambassadors (in every sense of the word) for our February Public Life shindig....... REBEKAH.
Rebekah’s been a firm follower of the House and Techno scene since the tender age of 16. She dedicated herself to completing a Music Production Diploma, and has put the skills she’s learnt to good use by releasing forward-thinking electronica on a string of labels, both in the UK and in Germany (Criminal, Toolroom, Phobic, and Mad Hatter to name a few). As a DJ, her club conquests read like a who’s who of distinguished names, with Fabric, Ministry of Sound, Cocoon, Exit Festival, Global Gathering, and the debauched Zoo Project in Ibiza all enlisting her exceptional talents to fire up their events. Suffice to say, we’re extremely proud and excited to welcome her to the Kai-Zen fold, and we know this is going to be quite a benchmark for all forthcoming Kai-Zen listings in 2011.
Joining the Zen ressie’s is Saoirse Ryan from StayinUP, which nicely rounds off our female-led revelry, as the lads step aside and let the ladies take control. Doors open from 7pm and earlybird reduced-price tickets can be acquired from Resident Advisor.
Our crew is really looking forward to breaking their resolutions with you on the 26th, and until then, enjoy your January.
Love
Kai-Zen x
