This is the first event I covered as a spotter. Also the first time I went to Purple Turtle :) and I have to say the vibe was cosy and friendly; my kind of place. The music was good, a little loud - but you've got to get people on the dancefloor right?
What's nice about Graffiti Breakz Vs Ascendance is that you can watch DJ's doing their thing as well as enjoy some graffiti artists create their work on the spot. It was like they were performing a live set, only instead of vinyl (or laptops!) they had black markers. Beautiful work, seriously, and I'm wondering if they go up for sale at the end of the night?
Too bad I had to leave before the evening ended so I didn't find out...

Good party though, I recommend!
