Well . . .what can i say . . apart from what a nite!!

I dont normally write reviews so you'll have to forgive me for my probably terrible english but i dont think it really matter!! lol

I finally made it to Meet early on for this one after a rather enteraining car journey through the mean streets of London and walked in to a load of friendly faces and Tom Huddart on the decks playing a wicked mixture of electro and house tunes that only he can seem to put together . . which seemed to set the tone for the nite as a whole!!

After a few beverages and a whole lot of catching up later Gibbins graced the decks with a good mix of all that is London at the moment and as the room filled and the atmosphere rose i could tell it was gonna be one of those nites!
Upstairs was kicking as Oliver Lang started his set and by this point i think i was starting to feel rather special, trying to pop between the bar and main room started becoming a bit of a task especially with all those stairs to tackle, but found that downstairs the atmosphere was equally as good with a wicked selection of beats and high standard of DJing throughout the venue!!

Now the part which prompted this review in the first place . . . . .
After feeling that liiittle bit too special i thought it was getting to the point where i needed to wander around trying to round up the troops and find my coat . .where ever the hell i put it!!
As i got to the point of giving up on the coat and braving the cold outside three Irish Blokes walked past chatting shit and wandering towards the booth, once there they started building a set that would make me not want to leave!

HOW GOOD ARE THE JAPANESE POPSTARS!!!!???

These guys rocked the place from start to finish from the build up to the quality use of two CDJ's and a mixer that i havnt seen in ages!
Normally the point of no return it turned out to be the highlight of the night and spot on Boogaloo for booking them, i found myself in the middle of the dancefloor going absolutely mental for two hours of what i can only describe as Genius! . . . .That good that when it was all over i found my knees creaking, back aching and was absolutely shattered . . . and i did not give a shit!!

I think ull agree when i say thanks to Ceri and all the Boogaloo guys for making it happen and hears to the next one . . . if you didnt managed to make it down for this . . . why the f**k not???!!!

Oh yeah and thanks to Tom Hudd for his cloakroom/drink minding skills lookin after my coat for 10p and the label off a beer bottle, and there wasnt even a ciggie burn or beer stain in sight!!
Lookin forward to the next installment....
