Phew!! What with Glade, Ibiza and festivals all over the joint, it’s definitely proving to be a summer of maximum enjoyment. But with all this crazy terrorist hysteria, political insanity and media furore whipping round the place at the moment we think it’s definitely time to throw another party. Maybe that Emperor Nero chap had the right idea… All revved up from taking C64 out to Puff Daddy Mansion in the Balearics, the Higher Status team are back - a little more browner and an awful lot hotter - and just busting to get back behind the decks for another one of their infamous free parties hidden away in the heart of London. Last month saw a full house of 150 super friendly party people descend upon Ruby Blue’s swanky Red Lounge till the dancefloor was literally steaming! So with air-con turned up a notch or three, this month we have dangerous duo DEEKLINE & WIZARD topping the bill with their kick ass bass-heavy tunes, along with those Blow boys DISPOSABLE BREAKS DJs, Chew the Fat! resident and all round special babe TIGERLILY, the internationally irrepressible Blow Girl JANETTE SLACK (OK, enough with the Blow connotations. Job done) and mighty fine C64 residents KANE and QC. Check out the C64 sound on J-Bass's Born Idle show on www.ibreaks.co.ukwhere Kane will be mixing it up on the 8th of the 8th at 8pm no less.
