We've got a Group thang goin' on...
Is this, like, a Tupperware thing?

Blimey! Get back from holiday and it's all change here on the DSI website. More like a bloomin' web empire!! And just when I was getting to grips with the last one, damn!

Though I started using DSI earlier this year as a handy tool to communicate with everyone, it now seems we have a more formalised Higher Status Group. Tea and scones, anyone?!

Well it's getting spankingly slick I have to say - very impressive - and if it helps us communicate and get together more, so much the better. Be great to hear from all you lovely people but please bear with me till I get the hang of it. I'm no computer whizz...

Anyway it's also time to send out the info for our next C64 Free Party which is next week. This link has all the details: August C64

The C64 team were away in Ibiza for July so we're just itching to get back and throw another party. We've met so many new faces (hellooo fellow Glade-sters!!) since the June party so I'm really excited at the prospect of getting everyone together for this one - can't wait!!!

OK well drop me a line to let me know that I've posted this up in the right place - and to reassure me that you're coming! - and feel free to invite on board any like-minded people who you think might enjoy the night. You know the score....

Yasmin x

OUCH!!!!! Now THAT'S friendship for you!!!

Yeah, thought we'd do a healthy one (just the one eh?) for a change in an environment in which we can actually communicate without busting our vocal cords! But it's a bit of a girly one this time.

But Dave you're just about the first guy who hasn't gone "Eh?" at the idea so maybe we'll do something similar another time for everyone. We were thinking of another Dysfunctional Family Picnic thing or going out to the woods or something.... Cor it really is getting all tea and scones isn't it?!? But with the right company we can have a laugh anywhere methinks....!

I'll see what we can come up with after the next C64....Ooohh Higher Status Goes Out to Play...

A-ha! I didn't even realise you were referring to a real Detox Day! Of course, if the need for the detox is that great, I probably wouldn't even make it out of my house that day - shall just make sure I have lots of fruit, water and a new blender in the house (my old one didn't get on well with the ice cubes!).

However. if in the future you do decide to have a non gender-apartheid version {grin}, then I'd be up for it (OK, OK, lying down for it!)

Epping Forest is lovely this time of year, I hear!

Right then, I'd best get on if I am gonna be ready to be out bright and early tonight...

  • Task 1 - Washing (my least fave)
  • Task 2 - Cleaning (a close second)
  • Task 3 - Prepare some lessons for next week's course (I can tell I'm gonna do this in ten mins on Monday morning)
  • Task 4 - Write an index for a book on exile in wartime (even less fun than it sounds)
  • Task 5 - Remember I have a real job too, and check what I got on next week

But first, think it's time for coffee and food!

{Lights fag, spoiling healthy intentions of all above}

Anyway, what's all this about the boys going "Eh?" at the idea of a day of rest? Maybe I'm just in touch with my feminine side? (Heck, I'll happily be in touch with anyone's feminine side :-)

"Oh, ambassador, with these compliments you are really spoiling us."

Nope, Yas, I've never made it to one before*, but you just try stopping me!

* I agree - isn't it lovely to feel like you've known people AGES? I find it a shock every time I see that I still have the "This user has been signed up for less then 2 months" on my profile! Maybe we met in a previous life?!

Dave 'bobbitt' newt? you thinking of changing you user name again dave? Dave, the pen knife needs to be serrated and exra sharp for that kind 'of jobey'. Almost sawlike .OUCH Ouch ouch. Enough of that talk.

Wahey only 5 more hours to AIR. I'm sitting around bored out my brains. Shall i sleep or go shopping or wash my car (its filthy as have had it for 4 months - not washed it at all yet)? Hmmm tough choices.

Thanks Ambassador yas, the car clamping thing did piss me off, but life is good and its not worth getting stressed over little thing is it now?

P.s. are you have posh men in suits handing out chocolat at your next c64 party? Would'nt that be quite cool. and in the corner of the room you can have a mini mountain of ferrero roche (can't spell). All the lasers and lights would reflect quite nice off the gold wrappers. And then we would all have to dance posh and wear monocles. Right i'm quite CLEARLY BORED as i'm actually envisioning this happening. I've also got the munchies for ferrero roche NOW, so i'm off on a mission to find some.
sEE EVERYONE TONIGHT
