If it isn’t the sickening sight of a PCN slapped to your windscreen, to getting ripped off by yet another over-priced club night that fails to deliver, I’ve just about had enough of THEM clawing at your purse strings and gnawing evil little holes in your wallet! It’s just not the kind of bending over and taking it I had in mind. This ain’t a whinge I tell you, it’s WAR! Hmmm maybe it’s time to mobilize troops again for some of that C64 catharsis, quick…
So it’s in militant mood this month that Higher Status launch another one of their infamous free parties hidden away in the heart of London. Leave your weapons at the door and come be fabulous and free in our house of super friendly party people at Ruby Blue’s swanky Red Lounge.
Aural pleasure will be provided by C64 favourite Janette Slack, kicking off the frontline with all things pert and tasty, followed by some funk-fuelled precision cuts laid on by, er… Precision Cuts who’ll be lifting up the night ready for girls’ best friend and ‘Gyromancer’ PMT, hotly pursued by mighty fine C64 resident Kane, partnering up this month with scratch buddy Larry of Def Inc., who’ll be breathing down the neck of Andy Durran, hotfooting it straight over from his Ministry of Sound Radio show (get in the mood with pre-party tuneage on www.ministryofsound.com
from 8-10pm), and not forgetting QC who’ll be thrashing out the breaks blitz at the rear. Phew! Armageddon here we come!
