Full Moon Weekend...Ahhh that figures..!!
Well I guess I should have known it was going to be one of those weekends when I rolled up to take my 1st photo of the delectable Janette and realised I'd left the battery in the charger at home - boo! Only one thing left to do after that and that's enjoy myself then, so I did!!!

Another great party and another wicked interesting crazy bunch of people to mix up, play about and do tricks with!! I think Magnus's Kraftwerk appearance was the biggest doppelganger double-take of the night for sure!! Nice one Henna, you got us all! (Should have had a sidekick filming everyone's reactions, they were classic!!) Yeah DaveN I wondered why you just sat there and didn't come over!!

We never quite know which way these nights are going to go but they always take on a unusual twist and this one was no exception, what with Kaz'n'Keylee's dramatic overtones and the air-con unit blowing things up at the end. Oh well, that's going out with a bang I suppose! But that's positively the last time I suggest anything war-like again - far too incendiary! -it'll be joss-sticks all the way next time....

Fantastic to have lots of the original Ferndale Rd crew back together again (notably Cynthhia from her round the world travels) and then newcomers from every step of the way since. We had yet more people from downstairs trying to blag their way in claiming to be from Kiss and Sony and even the future Chancellor of Germany's grandson (I checked his ID - true!!) who said he could offer me 'High Society at our party' when I asked him what he could do for us if I let him in. !!!!!!!
Actually he was quite sweet really but with Marie Antoinette there already, Lara Croft and a few GI Joes it was bound to blow up!

Yep, though our new door girls worked a treat (and looked divine)it's definately time for a larger venue and you'll be pleased to hear we're checking out a few this week. Fingers crossed!!!

And was it just me or did the night pass in a flash? I spent most of my time saying hello to everybody and then it was time to go already...How did that happen?

Well I blame it all on the full moon that's for sure.

Thanks to all the usual suspects and faces new (nice to meet you Bad Kitty & MandyLoo!) for joining in all the fun and making it happen once again! Especially all those who made it back to ours so that me and Mark could unwind too! Thanks for all the texts and emails which I'll get back to ASAP. We just gave the computer a much-needed wide berth the past couple of days....

Umm...musical highlight for me: call me biased but Kane & Larry's Latino number brought back Ibiza to me all over again.

Lost Property alert: as always, numerous bits of debris left at our flat (what IS it with you guys?!?!?) Someone's left a red velvet scarf, a tweedy flat-cap, no Magnus your tie has not been found yet but it's still a bit messy here so maybe it will turn up yet and I've lost my red, pink and orange leather purse (thankfully pretty bare at the time) - any finders?

OK gotta go... Can't wait to check in later and read all your messages. I've uploaded a few pix from my mini-me Emergency camera but I'm afraid the pix are all a bit AWOL this time round. I guess you had to be there to experience it. You know what I mean...! xxxx

I'll keep my reply short, Yas, as I'm sure you have far too much to read and reply to:

Thanks!

But no less sincere for its brevity.

Thanks for a top one Yas. Great to meet you (& so many other lovely people I'd not met before) too.
I managed to recover my lost bag from the cab in the end - thankfully, as it had everything in it. At least I'm in good company in the losing stuff stakes!

Yas, don't apologise for your writing - it's an absolute pleasure to read. (And in a world of illiterate web forums, there's not much about which that can be said.)

Ha ha thanx to you both! You know communicating with my DSI buddies is one of the few pleasures I have at the moment in my world of work, work, work. It's like this sneaky illicit pleasure to go off and check my emails. Mark tells me off sometimes but little does he know of these pleasures!! Yeah you too DaveN, your wordsmithery is astounding at times (when it doensn't fall into hasselhoff territory!!!) So Madest-Trancer did you come to our night or are you just passing through...? ...... oh I just checked, you're in Swansea. I mean we're good but..... Well pleasure to make your acquaintance and hope all is groovy up there! x

Must be the ex-academic in me, Yas. And when your job revolves around language, it doesn't hurt to have a modicum of competency in it. Innit.

Ahhh the power of words and language...seems we have a theme running in this post! Yeah, it's not like we hold official full moon parties or anything but there's always a strange sort of magic going on and I like to keep an eye on the cycles... Well my friend don't forget to drop us a line if you ever pop down to London... x

Hey! I got my lap top back and just wanted to say thanks for a great party and all your hospitality and general loveliness. Just what I needed at the end of what had been a very strange week. I seem to be paying for all the fun now tho' - I have tonsillitis.
