For those of you who have not been before, the background to this is as follows: Having so many single friends (both male and female) from work, home, uni, clients etc and knowing how difficult it is to meet people in London I decided to put on a night whereby I hired out a room at a top bar in London, and invited as many single friends, and friends of friends as possible. The premise being that you could go and chat to anyone in the room and have some kind of connection to that person to get a conversation going and then the rest is up to you. Its not just a singles night so if you are attached do not worry, as the other reason I did it was due to the fact I only ever seemed to meet up with friends when it’s a special occasion (birthday, anniversary etc etc) so why not have another excuse to meet up and have a good time. This way you get to invite mates as well as work friends and all have a good time in the same place, and if your single even better as the majority of people there will be single! And before you ask ‘no’ I’m not making any money out of this but would appreciate if you could give generously on the night to collection pots for NSPCC I have run 2 of these Dr Love nights now and on both of these occasions managed to get 6 couples together (some of which are still together) so hoping for similar success for this one. The night to put in your diary is Thursday August 3rd, and the venue is Ruby Blue (Lounge Bar) Leicester Square http://www.rubybluebar.co.uk/ so feel free to invite as many people (especially single mates) as you like.
