Music : Electro House, Dirty House, Fidgit House, Progressive House, Tech House and Electro

After the last few nights at the Russian, we thought there really isn't anywhere else we could possibly do our halloween special.

There will be a twisted Alice in wonderland theme to the evening.

So usual score in the main room, Residents Good TimeKid, Simon Boulind and DGS banging out filthy electro and tech house in the main room with special guest Jason Birkwood from Tool Room Records (Mark Knight and Hoxton Whores' record label). There will also be live percussion and Halloween visuals by Polyphant.

In the Basement Ministry of sound's DJ Bam Bo Tang will be hosting an electro/hip-hop/breaks mash-up with scratch DJs SY and M3.

In addition to this there will also be free UV face painting and a bottle of bubbley for the best costume.

**** PURE FILTH ELEKTRO ****
Pure Filth Elektro began life as a series of basement parties in Hackney quickly gaining a cult underground status around Dalston and Shoreditch.
The unique combination of musical styles combining Electro House, Tech House and Uplifting Ibiza House with live musical elements and visuals, always delivers an amazing vibe in a wide variety of venues from trendy east end locations such as the Russian and 333 to high profile London nightclubs including Egg, Ghost and Fluid. This formula insures a euphoric atmosphere always ensuring a diverse mixture of clubbers from the hardcore underground ravers right through to the Shoreditch elite, with guest DJs ranging from Hoxton Whores and Ministry of Sound’s Matt Weeks through to east end electronic acts such as Peacock Theory and Death Of A Pony.

DJs

> JASON BACHUS
Protege of one of UK's finest DJ/Producers Dave Spoon, Jason Bachus began his musical journey at a prestigious music college known as 'Southdowns', alongside Dave Robertson, Jon Gurd & Matt Samuels. It was here where he learnt the art of sound engineering and electronic production. Heavily influenced by Mark Knight and the Toolroom family, Jason now looks after Toolrooms music publishing as well as spending any spare time locked away in his studio!

Established and versatile, Jason has spun across the south coast & beyond including The Honey Club, Drift & the Wedgwood Rooms to name a few. His own productions has had astounding response, with releases on Italian label Stranamente Music and Brighton's favourite DJ duo Prok & Fitch and their label Floorplay Music!

Jason's use of uplifting synths, vocals and techy beats allows him to play on the crowds emotions, gaining complete control with dramatic euphoric elements that are a staple diet within his DJ sets!

Re edits, bootlegs and his own productions are a common sign of creativity that keeps Jasons DJ sets fresh, energetic & exhilarating......Come get involved!

> BAM BO TANG
Lucy Stone - Bam Bo Tang, a mixed bag DJ originally from London, combines filthy electro, mash up, party bangers and scratching, to give eager revellers that 'little bit of something else'.

She starred in a documentary for Channel 4 with her university dissertation on sound vibration and was the only female DJ finalist in 2008's: House Proud and Club 195 DJ Competitons. Recently she has become a Smartie Partie World Tour Resident.

She also models with 5 London agencies and has worked all over the world for the likes of Chanel, Ferrari, and Mac.

The Future? She hopes to continue filling dancefloors across the country such as MINISTRY OF SOUND, PACHA, EGG, FABRIC, THE WHITEHOUSE, SEONE, HONEY CLUB, INIGO to name a few... with big tunes and lost gems, whilst not forgetting to make her hair as large and blonde as possible!

> DGS
DJ DGS has been playing out on the club circuit for nearly 11 years, appearing at some of the UK's top clubbing venues as well as countless bars, clubs and underground parties. His musical style is based on electro house with very strong influences from a wide rage of genres including break beat, techno, house and even rock. In addition to this he has produced albums for London based hip-hop and punk acts which has also been a strong influence on his performances. DGS uses 100% vinyl, steering away from the digital formats in favour of a more traditional analogue sound often incorporating live instruments and musicians from all genres along with analogue based samplers.

> Simon Boulind
Simon Boulind has been playing out for 12 years, he started djing from the age of 18 at the Epping Forest Country Club after winning a dj competition there, he progressed on to playing at Aquarium, Shoreditch where he was involved with the successful monthly night Shelter, playing in Ibiza in the summer of 2002. He started out playing soulful house, progressing onto a main room sound mixing electro with prog and tech house alongside uplifting Ibiza tracks, inspired by his own experiences of being on the island. As well as becoming a resident dj for Pure Filth Elektro his dancefloor shaking sets see him spinning regularly at a number of London bars and clubs from The Russian and Fluid to Area and Egg.

> GOODTIMEKID
DJ Eddie also known as The GoodTimeKid has been playing dj sets for 7 yrs. He first realised his passion in his teens when he saw a dj scratching with 2 vinyls. It was not until a heartbreaking moment later in his life that he decided to follow his dream. So he sold his car and bought decks. 1 year later he had a residency and started promoting his own night called ‘Eddies Room‘, playing progressive house and also playing closing sets at the local hard trance club. Also hosting his own late night radio show at uni.
It was magazines like Mixmag and loads of England and European acts that caught his heart and he moved to England. The GoodTimeKid has played a number of house parties in every corner of London, building friendships through good quality house music and ‘he’s good guy’ attitude.
Here is a mix mixed by our resident the GoodTimeKid..enjoy
