SMARTIE PARTIE have not done a massive NYE party since the Millennium (when we had 4000 people show up!). And the reason we haven’t is down to not finding the right venue. But this year SP are very proud to have the amazing diverse venue SCALA to create a very special party. Our new monthly Residency is now fully established at this great 4 room super club & that’s exactly what Scala is "A true Super club" with vast areas to be creative with our SP decor. Everywhere you turn there will be something exciting happening.
As you walk into the Venues 1st floor room, you get a taste of that Funktion one Sound system. So grab yourself a drink & take in the atmosphere before moving up to the 2nd floor and checking out the best Main room in London & wow what a room this is. There are 4/5 different levels to plant your dancing feet & listen to the most amazing Sound Systems in London. Add on top of that the Visuals & decor, SP really will transfer this building into a "Theatre of Dreams".
Overlooking the main room is the Glass Room hosted by Tuff Luv vs Subliminal Muzik ( SP Debut ) which has its own vibe & sweet sound system, it also hangs out over the big Main room, so you are kind of suspended above a 1000 people going crazy below you (but don’t worry girls the boys can’t see up your skirts!). Moving up to the loft (top Room) its the 2nd biggest room in the building & with another 300/400 people all having NYE naughty fun! That rounds off the venue unless you want a cig (there's an outside area for you too).
At Midnight there will be a feast of explosive Pyro's & so much more! Music wise we plan to adopt the music policy that made SP the most successful ever Promotion at Turnmills for 5 years in a row, IE> All Things House (if you don’t find your flavour, you don’t like House).
We will be sticking with all our residents & bringing back some Favorite SP Djs who have excited you so many times over the Years! Djs that love playing SP & will not just turn up & piss off with their wedge!... Oh no, all our Djs have to dig in & get dirty with you lot!!
