Sell Out at Newcomer's Night
On Friday night the King's Cross Scala went back in time to an era of decadent Burlesque glamour. A glamourous crowd gathered to see a wonderful line-up off budding Burlesque starlets perform in the newcomers competition of the 2009 London Burlesque Festival.

Whilst all Burlesque tends to the same tassle twirling end, the creativity on display was diverse with feathered fans, sparkling capes and even a boxing match. Highlights included a hula hoop display (yes, all costume was removed whilst spinning) and lessons on how to be the perfect housewife from the Hot Bopping Girls all spliced together with humour from the comperes.

A great night out.
