but you can upload in better quality, with a better crop to make her look more central in the picture and larger.You could also take up the brightness and the contrast to make her stand out a bit more - assuming she is in focus.

Ok, I mean half the crap Top Photos that end up on the front page. In comparison, although the picture above doesn't deserve front page status, it's really not that different to a lot of pics I've seen appear on the front page during my time here. It's as though there really aren't any particular standards to work around.
