I've been looking for a big night out for NYE near my place in West London and hit on this Promised Land event. What I'm looking for is a bit of a mental fun NYE with likeminded party folk without the hassle of commuting back from a central London club or the crowds of central.

I'm pretty close to diving in and getting all my mates along. But looking through your forums, a couple of things are making me hesitate, particularly all the gripes about dodgy youngsters getting into fights and generally ruining the vibe. Is this a common occurance at PL? It seems the trainers and over-21s policies are both attempts to avoid this hassle - are they working? Any guesses whether the NYE event at She Bu will have more or less of this? The last thing I want is to end up draggin my mates to some night full of agro punters and overzealous bouncers.

Really, I'm sitting on the fence and just want to open up a discussion on the NYE event and get feedback from the PL experts on whether it's gonna be a crackin' way to ring in 2009!
