First, Sin doesn't like anything the pic might indicate online. It's not the glitzy red velvet haven I was told about, which *was a good thing*. (I love that 'rundown' look :)

The place has multiple smoking sections on each floor and I didn't have to wait a single second to smoke. There was literally *no lines* . As for toilets, *no lines* again. What a great change of pace from other venues - and that club definitely was at capacity. Good times!

The sound system in all 3 rooms was good, with a better one in the top room. Good for me I went to see Crookers (Salmon Dance! :) and that's where they played.

Security was - wait for it - Nice! I was very pleasantly surprised. One of their bouncers actually was bobbing his head up and down to the beat and sort of danced towards the end. Very friendly all around.

Crowd was good and friendly. I was quite surprised by the male/female ratio - there were a lot of women in the club that night. I go out for the music and not much else but I still thought I'd mention it.

Event finished a bit earlier than expected (5:20am), due to the crowd that started leaving around 3:30. It wasn't much of a problem as the quality of the acts more than made up for it.

The Sin club website is down and I had to add this event on DSI myself - shame because I saw a guy with a digital back SLR taking some pictures. It would have been nice to see them.

Overall, a good, solid event.

It was really good. Unfortunately I missed CROOKERS ... Left early, my friend was driving! But it was a good night!!!
