Saturday 28th February

UP: CLIVE HENRY / LUNA CITY EXPRESS / ENZO SIRAGUSA
DOWN: MARK E / RAY MANG / SEAN BROSNAN / DAVID JAMES / TONI BLACKBEARD

Completing the opening month for Circuit at Sosho will be the launch of Clive Henry’s monthly residency. Clive is the only British resident for Circo Loco in Ibiza, while his sublime productions with Peace Division have brought him international acclaim and recognition. For his first party at Circuit he will be joined by the ever impressive Luna City Express. Two stand-out sets from these guys in 2008 really made people sit up and take notice. Firstly at the Moon Harbour party at Retox, they stole the show alongside label boss Matthias Tanzmann. Then at Circuit at Home in autumn 2008 a set of deep grooving house music established them as DJs to look out for.

Label of the moment Jisco Music take over the disco lounge at Circuit for the evening. While there are floods of disco re-edits in the record shop shelves Jisco stands head and shoulders above the rest. They’ve managed to combine the art of the re-edit with great production and teasing slow-mo house that has demonstrated there is another way to edit and with some serious style. With nine releases under their belt, Jisco now bring the same emphasis to their parties.

Special guest Jisco artist is Mark E. Having come to the attention of the music world after his long style edit of Womack & Womack's 'Baby I'm Scared', Mark now boasts releases on labels such as Sonar Kollektiv and Running Back. His deep house with disco rubs have been popular with everyone form Jazzanova to Theo Parish and his DJ set have taken him across the world.

Joining Mark is super producer Ray Mang. A man who is too often in the background, having been one third of Nuphonic's Block 16 band and engineer for both the Idjut Boys and The Glimmers. His own productions fuse disco and percussion and his ding takes the same approach, head straight for the dance floor.

Support comes from the Jisco DJs Sean Brosnan & David James. David has sailed the Jisco ship for four years steering it in its respected path. Sean works at Azuli records and has just compiled a compilation titled Future Disco.
