Music : Electro House and Electro Techno

Mountain People’s appearance at the Circuit launch party was a nod to the depth of quality music coming out of Switzerland right now. Another leading light on that scene is Agnes. A major producer of quality deep house these past few years, he is also making waves with his Sthlmaudio label. At the heart of the label is a commitment to unearthing rich new talent. It’s a tactic that seems to be working as the label is regularly played by the likes of Steve Bug, Richie Hawtin and Anja Schneider. Poker Flat head honcho Steve Bug has also been showing love for rising UK label Fear of Flying. With key support for the label also coming from the likes of Loco Dice, we’re certainly looking forward to welcoming in label boss BLM to Circuit. His productions on the label present someone with a passion for old style house. His ‘Believe in Love’ with its spacey synths has a real old Detroit vibe about it, and was played by everyone from Laurent Garnier to Clive Henry.

Over the next year we can look forward to some music being released from DJs in our own stable. Resident DJ Enzo Siragusa is constantly locked away in the studio and has some lovely tunes lined up for release. Playing at Circuit each week gives him great inspiration for the music and a wonderfully knowledgeable and responsive crowd to try different sounds out on. Ben Rau has also been in our studio and he has one of the most well respected labels in Berlin sniffing around a track that he hasn’t even finished yet.

Founding the Crazy P movement in 1996, Jim Baron and Chris Todd hooked up with Danielle Moore (Socialite/Vocalist) DJing at an afterhours house party in Mancunia. Since then the extended live outfit, 5 piece live band, production and remix team, have taken their love of disco, house and dancefloor grooves on the road.

With a new album and a sell out March Islington Academy gig you can catch the Crazy P Soundsystem in our Disco Lounge for a night of unadulterated mayhem. We promise. Also joining Andy on the wheels of steel is one of Amsterdam's Disco scene's leading lights Rudy From Amsterdam.
