At last it was time for the official Lets Get Dirty launch night at soundstage!

As you would expect, a lot of hard work went into the launch of this event... and in my opinion it was certainly worth it.
Over the past few weeks building up to the big night I've been so impressed with the hard work and support that so many of Nikki's friends have given... I'm sure she must be proud to have so many people behind her!

As many of you will know, there was a last minute major issue with the venue!!! Due to lack of communication at Soundstage, the venue had been double booked. Thankfully, after a meeting with all concerned, a plan was agreed that each promotion would have time in the main room, and decks set up in the main bar area.

We arrived early, and already there was a small crowd stomping round the dance floor! The tunes were great and it was obvious that people were already havin it!

By 12 the dance floor was rocking, and although there was room for a few more, it didn't matter, it just meant my friends and I could throw ourselves around even more without knocking someone out!!...
The crowd were cool, smiley, and most definitely up for it.

After such a great first few hours in the main room, the move to the bar seemed a shame, however it didn't take long before Gareth Wyld's set got us all going again.

If you love your music, and want to be surrounded by up for it friendly people then Lets Get Dirty is for you...

Plan's are already underway for 'round two' so watch this space for details... With your support I'm sure that Lets Get Dirty will go from strength to strength.

I have to agree that the music was brilliant, all night. Its so nice to see new (young) talented DJs being given the chance to show us what they can do, well done boys!

As for the crowd, they were certainly up for it... and all very friendly.

I'm definitely planning to go to this event again, and will spread the word.

I'm gutted I missed this night. After the promotional night in Watford's Baraka, which was wicked, I was really hoping to get there. Oh well, I guess there's always next time, and from the review it sounds like it will definitely be worth it.

I had a wicked night! Got there at about 1 to find the place nice and busy, Lui was doin a wicked job in the main room (theres a tune you played with a run dmc sample in it, I want it!! what is it?). Everyone was having such a laugh all night. Ive got to say the style of music coming from the LETS GET DIRTY djs was alot better then the other lot. I left at four to play at the SCALA for Funky Fever, IM NEVER GOING TO THE SCALA AGAIN! it was sooo moody loads of rude boys, it was amazing the difference in atmosphere I couldnt believe it. Well done Nicki and everyone, onwards and upwards!!!

BRING IT ON!!!!! That was one of the best nights I've ever had since I've been converted to dirty and electro house, for any of you fellow ravers that enjoy a night of fun, fantastic atmosphere and appreciate good music I hope to see you at the next one July 8th......... yipee can't wait!!!!
